Everton are ready to bid for Werder Bremen defender Jannik Vestergaard.

It broke last week in Denmark that Everton boss Roberto Martinez was having Vestergaard scouted leading up to the summer market.

And BILD says he is ready to make a formal approach and offer €10 million to sign the Denmark international.

Vestergaard only joined Werder in January from Hoffenheim.

The 22 year-old centre-half, standing at 6ft 6in, has spent his entire pro career in Germany.
