Everton boss David Moyes is facing competition from German side Schalke 04 for 1860 Munich's teenage striker Peniel Kokou Mlapa.

He has been to watch the 6ft 4in Togo-born hitman and has also had a £3m quote for the 19-year-old's signature.

Mlapa may be keen to continue his development at home, so giving Schalke an advantage in the race for his transfer.
