Everton midfielder Aiden McGeady says he can handle the Scottish boo-boys.
The Everton midfielder and his Goodison Park team-mate James McCarthy have been the hot topic in the build-up to the crucial Euro 2016 qualifier given their controversial decision to pledge their loyalty to the Republic of Ireland instead of their native Scotland.
"If you break it right down and think about it then it's just another game of football," he said. "I know you've got all the other factors. People coming out in the Press and saying their bit on myself and James, getting booed or whatever.
"That's part and parcel of football. I just need to go into the game and try and play the way I can and help the team to try and get a positive result.
"I've just tried to distance myself from it and not get too caught up in it. I've spoken enough times about what happened and how I came to play for Ireland."
