Everton midfielder James McCarthy is flattered by interest from Manchester United.

During an interview with the Standard, the Ireland international refused to rule out a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Asked about the transfer speculation, McCarthy said: "If a club like Manchester United are interested, obviously you are doing a good job.

"We will see what happens."
