Everton have reportedly reached the asking price for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen to reunite with the promising Republic of Ireland international and is prepared to pay up to £13million for his services with the Latics accepting the offer.
If Everton bring in McCarthy, it could open the door for Marouane Fellaini to join Manchester United.
