Everton make attempt for Man Utd keeper Heaton

Manchester United are unlikely to allow back up goalkeeper Tom Heaton to leave this summer.

The ex-Burnley shot stopper has been eager to leave the Old Trafford club due to his lack of playing time.

However, the Liverpool Echo states that despite interest from Everton, United will not sell.

The 37-year-old is one of the only senior keepers who is likely to be around at United.

United have not renewed veteran first choice keeper David De Gea, while Dean Henderson wants to leave the club.

With Henderson likely to sign for Nottingham Forest permanently, Heaton may have to make do with another season as a backup at United.
