Everton loan target Januzaj to remain patient at Man Utd

Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj has indicated that he is not interested in a loan move to Everton or anywhere else.

Januzaj was arguably one of the few shining lights for United in their torrid season under the management of David Moyes during in 2013/14 and it was widely expected that the young Belgian would go on to play an integral part in the Red Devils' campaign under Louis van Gaal.

As it turned out though, Januzaj endured a frustrating season as he was hardly afforded regular first team football by the Dutch tactician and as a result, the 20-year old spent most of his time on the sidelines or in the reserves.

With the presence of the likes of Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria, new signing Memphis Depay and Ashley Young among others, it seems that Januzaj will find it difficult to establish himself in the first team during the upcoming season again and a loan move to Everton had been touted.

However, Januzaj is not interested in leaving United on loan and has stated that he will be working hard in order to win his place back in the first team at Old Trafford.

"Of course I want to play in the first team and get more games," Januzaj said. "I've not had a lot of games this season.

"It's been quite a difficult season but I still have many years to come. I'm still only 20 and that's what people forget. I'm always working hard to try to prove myself. Sometimes you need to be patient but when you've got the chance you need to try and take it.

"I'm working hard first in training and it's also important outside of training to work hard in the gym, which I'm doing at the minute to build myself and make myself stronger. I'm getting there.

"You're not going to be strong in one month. You need a long time before you gain that natural strength."
