Everton and Wales legend Neville Southall has slammed the crowd numbers for Friday's World Cup qualifying defeat to Belgium.
Southall couldn't believe the poor turnout.
He told Absolute Radio: "..they said it was 20 (thousand) but I think there was about 16 (thousand) there and for an international for 20 quid a ticket, to see Gareth Bale, Ramsey and all the Belgium players, I thought was nothing short of scandalous to be fair."
He added; " What happened last night; I think Cardiff Blues plays as well (the rugby team) which you know, doesn't help. I think the other big thing that we've got to look at is Friday nights, everyone from North Wales can't get down; they've got to take the day off work, it's four hours, there's no easy way to get there. So you're missing half of your crowd, you know, from the north anyway. So I think it needs sorting out. Maybe they should put on some free buses, there are things they can do."
Southall was speaking to Ian Wright of Absolute Radio's Rock n' Roll Football. Saturdays from 5pm on 1215AM.
