Everton legend Graham Sharp feels Phil Jagielka can book his ticket for Brazil.
The Blues captain was excellent for England last week.
"Obviously everyone was talking about Rio Ferdinand and John Terry in years gone by and, though he's had to be patient, I think Jags has not put a foot wrong and he's shown what he is, which is a very good defender, and his partnership with [Gary] Cahill looks quite promising," Sharp told evertonfc.com.
"The London press are suggesting they want different options going towards Brazil but I think Jags has done more than enough.
"Obviously he'll be wanting to maintain his form for Everton but in no way does he look out of place in the England set up."
