Everton legend Tim Cahill has jumped to the defence of sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes.
Moyes was sacked by the Barclays Premier League champions on Tuesday, just 10 months into a six-year contract at Old Trafford.
Cahill, now playing in MLS with New York Red Bulls, tweeted:
Wish Moyes all the best. Football is a great but also cruel game. Anyone after sir Alex was going to have a tough time. What's ur thoughts.
