Everton are launching a new £4 million bid for Sheffield United fullback Kyle Naughton.

The Mirror says David Moyes has been given the go-ahead by the Goodison money men to increase his bid and wants to fly the defender, 20, back from the Blades training camp in Malta.

The Championship club want £6m for Naughton, who has also been linked with Aston Villa, but Moyes has emerged as the major bidder for him and now the clubs are likely to thrash out a compromise deal.
