Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner has extended his loan at Preston North End to the end of the season.

The Scot, 27, joined the Deepdale outfit in February as boss Phil Brown sought to guide his side out of the relegation mire.

The Lilywhites have lost just one of their last five games but are still likely to be playing in League One next season.

They are currently seven points from safety with just six games of the campaign left.
