Everton keen on Gambian forward Barrow

Everton are believed to be showing interest in Ostersunds FK striker Modou Barrow.

The 21-year old Gambian is available for a cut price this summer and could be on his way to England as a number of clubs including the Toffees are keen on him according to UK-based agent Willie McKay.

"There is a great deal of interest in Modou and that is no surprise as he been the best player in Sweden this season," McKay told Sky Sports.

"I have spoken with several clubs, including Everton, Bolton, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday about Modou and they are keen on him.

"He is available for as little as €1.5million and he is also on comparatively low wages so he would be a bargain for someone."

The former Varbergs man joined Ostersunds earlier this year and has since scored 12 goals in 18 matches for the Superettan outfit.
