Everton are stepping up their bid for Verona winger Emil Hallfredsson.

The former Spurs midfielder, 28, is preparing to leave the Serie B club at the end of this season and has welcomed the interest of Everton.

But offers are now flooding in with Hallfredsson's situation becoming public and he has rival offers from Rubin Kazan and Bologna as the summer market draws closer.
