Everton hoping Rodwell, Cahill are fit for Chelsea

Everton will check on the fitness of Jack Rodwell and Tim Cahill ahead of this weekend's meeting with Chelsea.

The Toffees are away to the Blues at Stamford Bridge tomorrow but will have to ensure that young midfielder Rodwell and Australian attacker Cahill can make the trip.

Rodwell sat out the England U21 clash with Norway earlier this week whilst Cahill missed Australia's double header with Malaysia and Oman and will need to pass a fitness test before taking on third-placed Chelsea.

John Heitinga and Leon Osman are also under injury clouds as David Moyes' men look to continue their good recent form at the Southwest London venue which has yielded them five draws in their past five Premier League outings there.
