Ex-Everton forward Wayne Rooney has spoken about the time he spent at the club during the start of his career.
Rooney burst onto the Premier League scene as a teenager with the Toffees.
He eventually made it into the England squad for Euro 2004, before moving to Manchester United in a big money transfer.
In a tell-all interview with Toffees TV, he stated about his teammates when he got into the Everton first team: "It's mad how quickly things changed.
"For me to go in with Duncan [Ferguson], [Alan] Stubbs - all of them that I grew up watching.
“To then go and play with them, training with them every day, so quickly I remember thinking, 'These are c***'."
