Manchester United signing Javier Hernandez is being likened to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And he is struck by the way 5ft 7in Chicharito resembles United scoring legend Solskjaer in his ability to poach goals.

Heath, 49, said: "He is known as the Little Pea but you don't think of him as being small because of how he plays.

"You'll watch him and think 'He's going to score any minute' - the same way you used to with Solskjaer - and sure enough he'll pop up with one."

Heath added: "He has great movement, scores plenty in the air and always seems to be able to get a toe on the ball ahead of the defender.

"But he will need time to bed in and if there's a good place to do that it is United, because they have the talent in the squad to be patient. I'm sure he'll be a big hit."
