Everton fullback Coleman: We're all playing for our futures under Ancelotti

Everton fullback Seamus Coleman admits Goodison Park futures are up for grabs this season.

The veteran defender spoke after an encouraging draw with Liverpool in the Mersey derby, where the Blues created two fine chances to record their first victory over the old enemy in a decade.

“We have to realise at this club, we have a world-class manager and as players we are fighting for our futures," Coleman said, pulling no punches.

“He is new to the job and I am sure he will want to be putting his stamp on things. (So) we need to build a culture, demanding from each other in training.

“I want this club to be successful, we all need to be pushing in the right direction and giving everything we have to be part of this team going forward."
