Marouane Fellaini's future at Everton is in serious doubt after his meltdown during their FA Cup defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Fellaini, barracked because of his lacklustre performance in the Wigan defeat, reacted angrily towards sections of the home crowd before being substituted early in the second half.
He was also the target of verbal abuse as he left the stadium following the game, some irate Evertonians venting their anger at his timid display, says the Telegraph.
Fellaini can leave Everton if a £23 million clause is activated by Champions League participants, and the last 72 hours will only intensify the belief his departure is inevitable.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all monitoring developments closely.
