Everton are eyeing LA Galaxy attacker Landon Donovan for the January market.
The Daily Mail says Everton are pondering a move to bring Donovan back for a third spell on loan.
The United States international became a crowd favourite at Goodison Park when he arrived in January 2010 and cemented the bond he forged with another successful period in 2012.
With the MLS season having finished and LA Galaxy forward Donovan looking to maintain his fitness in a World Cup year, a short-term deal with Everton could be ideal for both club and player.
