Former Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles is being linked with Everton.

Takvim says Meireles has emerged as a surprise target for Everton.

He is currently at Fenerbahce, where he is under contract until 2016.

It is believed Everton are tracking the 32-year-old, who spent one season across the city at Liverpool before moving to Chelsea.

Meireles, the Portugal international, was also linked with West Ham United earlier this season.
