Former Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan is being linked with a return to England - and Merseyside.

Local Italian sources say Klavan has been touted for a surprising move to their Merseyside rivals Everton.

Klavan, now at Italian side Cagliari, played for the Reds between 2016-2018, and could be set for a return to the city to join the Toffees.

New Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing in the experienced 34-year-old as cover at the back.
