Everton are in talks with Newcastle to sign Moussa Sissoko, according to Sky Sports.

Championship Newcastle want £30m for the France midfielder and they are willing to accept payment in five instalments of £6m.

The 27 year old was given permission to leave the French national team headquarters near Paris on Wednesday morning as the possibility of a move to Tottenham emerged but they have now baulked at the asking price
