Everton defender James Tarkowski says they'll throw everything at their FA Cup tie with Crystal Palace.

The Toffees face a relaxed January, though Tarkowski insists the players want more games and not less.

He said, “I want to play games as many times as I can so ideally there's a game as soon as possible. I think for the team we are going to get a few more bodies back over the next few weeks, which will be nice just to fill out our squad a little bit. But for me, I just want to play football, I want to be out there, on days like this, as many games as possible.

“It definitely feels like we've made big strides in this year for me. Definitely stronger, the team seems to be in a much better place. The club seems to be in a better place.

"There is definitely a unified feel between everyone at the club so we're definitely in better shape than at the start [of 2023]."
