Sochaux striker Karl Toko Ekambi is being watched by Everton and Crystal Palace.

The Mail on Sunday says the 23-year-old Cameroon international is regarded as one of the best players in the French second division.

He scored 17 goals last year and has grabbed three so far this campaign.

Both Premier League sides sent scouts to watch Ekambi in Friday night's match at Le Havre and Sochaux will sell for around £2million.
