The Liverpool Echo says Everton are said to be in the race to sign the latest wonderkid from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Reports in Spain claim the Blues have contacted Nou Camp officials over the possibility of taking teenager Traore on a season long loan.
Everton had Barca's Gerard Deulofeu on loan last season and his development under manager Roberto Martinez is understood to have impressed the four-time European Cup winners.
