Everton have clinched the signature of England U19 international John Stones from Barnsley it has been confirmed.
The highly-rated 18-year old defender has agreed personal terms and signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Toffees.
"I am very excited to be joining Everton. I've been very impressed with everything I have seen at Finch Farm already. Now the hard work begins," Stones told the club's official website.
