Everton are chasing Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann.

The Sunday Mirror says the centre-half was monitored by scouts from Goodison Park throughout an impressive season with the Eagles.

And Everton chiefs are hopeful they could now tie-up a deal in the coming weeks.

They have been looking into various new options but believe the 28-year-old defender, who was born on Merseyside, would fit in well with their side for next term.
