Everton are competing with Real Madrid for Real Betis winger Juan Carlos Perez.
AS says Everton have registered their interest with Perez's parent club, Sporting Braga, after an outstanding campaign on-loan with Betis this season.
Real Madrid are also interested, with Perez having come through their youth system before moving to Portugal.
