Everton boss David Moyes is delighted with their deal for Rangers attacker Steven Naismith.

Naismith completed his switch on Wednesday.

"It is good if you can get your boys in at pre-season and get them involved," said Moyes.

"It gives everyone a lift. That's why we've got a full room today because everyone very rarely sees Everton signing players at this early stage.

"But I hope it's not the last and I'm hoping to get some more business done, certainly before the season gets started."
