Everton boss David Moyes intends to try again for LA Galaxy captain Landon Donovan this summer.
Moyes missed out on taking Donovan on-loan in January, but remains keen to re-sign the USA captain after his successful spell last season.
Donovan has insisted he would only leave Galaxy for Everton, but will need some persuading to quit the club midway through the MLS season.
Everton will hope to sign Donovan permanently.
