Everton boss David Moyes has shot down talk of a move for Spartak Moscow midfielder Vladimir Bystrov.

He said: "Wherever you're getting that name from, or whoever's writing it, I can tell you they're 100 per cent wrong."

Everton were said to be on the brink of a £9 million deal for Bystrov.
