Everton boss David Moyes is delighted to have Ross Barkley back from his loan with Sheffield Wednesday.
Barkley made a real impression during his two months at Hillsborough and Moyes agreed the spell had been of real benefit.
The Everton manager explained: "He is a young boy, he's 18. I can think of Leon Osman who did similar when he went to Carlisle and then to Derby. We will look at him and see how he is over the next couple of months.
"From what I have seen he has matured a bit and come on a bit with the games he has had at Sheffield Wednesday.
"The experience has helped him. With young players the games make a big, big difference."
