Everton boss Roberto Martinez is hoping to sign free agent Antolin Alcaraz.
The Sun says Martinez is hoping to persuade Alcaraz to follow him to Merseyside when his Wigan contract expires next week.
But Paraguayan international Alcaraz has attracted interest from Benfica, Werder Bremen and Malaga and has yet to decide whether to renew his partnership with Martinez.
