Everton boss Martinez not panicking over Lennon signing chances

Everton boss Roberto Martinez insists he hasn't considered a permanent option for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.

Lennon has two more games left of his loan from Tottenham - the rules of his move prevent him playing against his parent club on the final day of the campaign - but Martinez says he has not given thought to whether his move will be made permanent.

"It needs to be something that the player is happy with," said Martinez. "Aaron has been a revelation. He has made a massive contribution. I would expect exactly the same over the next two games and we want him to finish as strong as we can.

"The next two games it is important for him to finish strong. After that we will sit down and see what he his thoughts. When you get a loan player, you want them to fit in straight away. I think he has enjoyed it and over the next two games we want him to carry on with the levels.

"The fans have been very clear in their appreciation. Aaron has enjoyed his football and the way he has been working means there has been a good chemistry between him and the fans. It would be nice if the final 90 minutes were really successful for him but the chemistry doesn't need improving."
