Everton boss Roberto Martinez fears losing goalkeeper Tim Howard at the end of the season.
Howard - 36 next month - is being linked with a move to Major League Soccer this summer.
The Daily Star says New York City FC, which have been in the Northwest this past week for preseason training, are interested in the USA No.1, along with Sporting Kansas City.
David Beckham is also keen to tempt Howard to his new Miami franchise.
