Everton boss Roberto Martinez expects Bryan Oviedo to play again this season.
Oviedo will step up his recovery from a hamstring tear this week - and then target a return to the Everton side in May.
"I expect him to be training at the end of this week so we are probably looking at two or three weeks before he is back - maybe the Sunderland game," Martinez said.
"It was a bad injury. The tendon got a bad tear. It wasn't a pull in the belly of the muscle, it was a tear right on the tendon, really high up."
