Everton boss Roberto Martinez is backing Ross Barkley for a big week with England.
Martinez is sure Barkley can take on any role that Roy Hodgson wants to give him and impress.
He said: "I think Ross showed last season for Everton that the bigger the game the bigger the performance.
"He has shown that he's ready to take responsibility and that he's someone who doesn't see the emotion that surrounds the game, all he sees is that he's someone who wants to enjoy his football.
"Ability-wise he's as talented as you're going to see so it's about ensuring the team suits Ross as well as Ross suits the team but he's ready for anything you throw at him."
