Everton boss Roberto Martinez admires the work of Ronald Koeman at Southampton.
Everton face Saints today.
"Southampton have done fantastically well," said Martinez. "To bring in that amount of players who haven't played in the Premier League and to hit the ground running is quite rare, very rare, and the manager deserves huge credit for allowing those players to perform straight away.
"They've been very strong and deserve to be where they are but, in the same way, if they are going to go into Europe next season, it will be interesting to see how it affects their league campaign. "It is a major change in how you have to work on a weekly basis."
