Everton manager Ronald Koeman believes he has won the chase for Axel Witsel.
The Daily Mirror reports that the new Toffees boss is confident he can land the Belgian midfielder from Russian club Zenit St Petersburg ahead of a number of Premier League rivals.
Witsel, 27, has recently been linked with Liverpool, Chelsea and Stoke City, as well as Italian club Napoli, but it is understood that he could be on his way to Goodison Park this summer.
It has already been confirmed by Witsel's father Thomas that Everton have 'concrete' interest in the player and Koeman is eager to secure a deal for the £28.5million-rated Belgium international.
