Sunderland and Everton are watching St Pat's star Chris Forrester.

The Mirror says Everton had eyes on him at the FAI Cup final. Forrester still has a year to run on his Saints contract and insists he will see it out.

But the Dubliner would command a transfer fee if a club tried to lure him from Inchicore in the meantime.

The 19-year-old former Bohemians man is flattered by all the speculation over his future.

Earlier this week he said: "It's good publicity that people are coming to watch me play and that they enjoy watching me.

"If people want to talk about it, they can. I'll just let my football do the talking."
