Everton academy coach Neil Dewsnip is delighted to have been crowned the best team in the country.
The young Blues won the national academy league title in spirited fashion on Friday evening, coming back from a goal down with 15 minutes left to defeat Fulham 2-1..
"I am incredibly proud, for the players and the staff and for our Club," Dewsnip told evertontv after the game..
"We have been saying all season about the character of the boys and how they keep going is brilliant and they showed it again tonight..
"We have won our section which involves some good competitors and we have beaten the best in the midlands and now the best down south, so why not?"
