Even if I left Man City, I wouldn't go to PSG because I support Marseille - Kompany

Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has played down claims he is about to depart the club.

The Belgian centre-back has already been linked with German giants Bayern Munich and it has also been suggested that Paris Saint-Germain could make a move.

However, Kompany insists he is content at City and even if he was to leave for France, it wouldn't be to PSG.

"I am fine at City. When you know the plans of the club, you can only stay," he told RMC.

"From the moment you consider that you can win as many trophies at City as at any other club, there is no reason to look elsewhere.

"Could I go to Paris Saint-Germain? No, I am a supporter of Marseille."
