Louis Saha believes Euro2012 has been a 'beautiful' tournament to watch even though he has not been involved as a player.
The former Tottenham, Everton, Fulham and Manchester United striker was not selected for the France squad for the competition but he feels that this version of the European Championships have been great because four of the best teams are left and there has been plenty of top quality action.
"When you look at what happened again with France, it's such a shame that top players are just not able to focus on their football. The only thing that really matters in your playing career is the way you perform collectively.
"As a man and a professional player, the Euros is one of the best moments and not being involved has made me realise even more how beautiful it is.""In Euro 2012 there will be no surprise winner such as Greece in 2004. No teams peddling a negative style of play, lacking in energy, with a bad team spirit or a big mouth have survived," he wrote in his column for the Evening Standard.
