UEFA president Michel Platini has revealed that most associations in his region will vote for Prince Ali bin Hussein as the next president of FIFA.
Following Sepp Blatter's shock resignation from the post on Tuesday, Platini has revealed that a vast majority of the European associations will give Jordan's Prince Ali their backing to serve as FIFA's ninth president.
"A big, big, big majority of the European associations will vote for Prince Ali," said Platini.
"People have had enough, they don't want this president anymore."
Prince Ali was beaten by Blatter in Friday's election at FIFA congress on Friday but bizarrely, the Swiss administrator has already stepped down amidst allegations of bribery and corruption.
