Cristiano Ronaldo's petulance and arrogance has been slammed by Iceland's Kari Arnason.
After the 1-1 draw with Portugal at Euro2016 on Tuesday, the Real Madrid star criticised Iceland for being a small nation who concentrated too much on defending.
But those words have not been welcomed by Arnason who suggested Ronaldo missed his golden opportunity to win the game for his country in the second half, among other things.
"Well it makes it even sweeter when he's a sore loser like that," said the Malmo centre-half.
"I mean, he can say whatever he wants. He didn't really get a chance, he got one and he couldn't put it away.
"What can I say? Sore loser. Tough s***."
Arnason added: "Ronaldo is a fantastic footballer but he's not a gracious human being. The thing is, we almost nicked it at the end so him saying we weren't going for a win contradicts that.
"His comments are the reason why Lionel Messi is always going to be one step ahead of him.
"It shows we got under his skin so it was lovely to hear what he said."
