West Bromwich Albion will delay entering the transfer market until the conclusion of Euro 2012, says sporting director Dan Ashworth.
"The players that have been at the Euros come back a couple of weeks later than everybody else, they need to get their rest.
"It doesn't make any difference the way this country runs or the way football is run in the transfer window.
"We have about six weeks and July and August is when the majority of people do their business.
"Last summer things started happening because there wasn't an international tournament.
"It probably just delays it for two or three weeks." "What you find every two years, when there is a World Cup or Euros, the transfer window starts to pick up the week later," he said.
