The agent of Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is confident a deal can be struck with Inter Milan today.

After yesterday's lengthy talks, Jose Maria Mesalles said: "Tomorrow we will continue, there is going to be another meeting and we have some work still to do.

"I am optimistic and I think that a deal is close, even if it will take a while for us to get a signature on the contracts.

"Eto'o wants Inter and he is happy to come to Inter. We have made big steps forward compared to yesterday.

"We are not at the end yet, but tomorrow we can conclude the transfer."
