Eto'o sent off as Portugal defeat Cameroon

Cameroon star Samuel Eto'o was sent off as his side lost 3-1 to Portugal in a World Cup warm-up match.

The Barcelona striker was handed two yellow cards in quick succession just after the half-hour mark as Portugal put their embarrassing scoreless draw with Cape Verde Islands behind them.

FC Porto's Raul Meireles netted twice, the first coming from a Simao Sabrosa cross and the second was a neat finish from a tight angle before Mallorca striker Pierre Webo hit back for the Africans with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Ten-man Cameroon were back in the contest but their spirits were killed off 12 minutes later when Manchester United winger Nani fired home cross from Cristiano Ronaldo to seal the victory.
