Former Barcelona strikers Patrick Kluivert and Samuel Eto'o have been impressed by summer signing Memphis Depay.

Depay has hit the ground running at Barca after his Bosman arrival from Olympique Lyon.

Eto'o stated: "The luck that Barça has is that they have signed Memphis, who has an important club experience and has shown that he can charge the team at the same time.

"I think he will be the one to lead the team."

Along these lines, Kluivert added that "he is doing very well in the national team and I think the way he plays will go very well with this shirt".
